Goa Tourism Accelerator inaugurated for startup founders developing solutions for futureproofing the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry. The second edition of The Goa Tourism Accelerator for 2022 is expected to big-push the tourism sector & empower its stakeholders. This 12-week accelerator program is designed to help redefine the Go-To-Market strategy for startups with some traction or apply their solution to the industry for the first time.
During the last edition, 14 startups were handheld to success from the 50+ applications received from across the globe. These 14 startups included technological innovations in various areas – waste management, customer experience, new payment solutions, mobility, and sustainability among others. Rethinking tourism, especially in the period of climate change & global warming
essentially involves facilitating, asking of the right questions for effective solutions, which is what FiiRE dreams to achieve with this 12-week Tourism Accelerator Program.
To rebuild and re-emerge from the crisis, an entire ecosystem needs to be built to tackle the challenges on an ongoing basis. Goa, with the right set of ecosystem enablers, and with Tourism as its mainstay, has emerged as a favorable destination for startup founders too. With an Incubation center especially focussed on TourismTech innovations, the emphasis is on providing impetus to entrepreneurs who can either design new solutions or adapt old ones to favorably impact the tourism sector. With the role of providing the right mix of knowledge, network, and funding, FiiRE Goa has emerged as a strong incubator for entrepreneurs developing technology that positively impacts local and global tourism.

And if anything, we learned from our past experiences, it takes an ecosystem to rebuild Tourism in Goa. So we are only playing our part as an ecosystem enabler for the Tourism sector.
