The Business Diva Competition 2023
WHAT is the event?
The event is a business idea competition for women and would mainly focus on innovative solutions to women-centric issues and problems. The aim of The Business Diva Competition 2023 is to reach a wider audience and positively impact and uplift more women entrepreneurs during these trying times.
ORGANIZERS OF THE EVENT
The event will be coordinated by Miss. Risha Milind Hegde(Community Manager, FiiRE), Ms. Pallavi Salgaocar (Chairperson, GCCI Women’s Wing), and Ms. Poonam Shirsat (Co-Chair, GCCI Women’s Wing) and supported by other staff from FiiRE and members of GCCI Women’s Wing.

- Selection Round 25th March to 7th April
- Training Session 13th April 2023
- Semifinal 18th April 2023
- Finals 29th April 2023
WHO can participate?
Women above the age of 18 with innovative businesses can participate. There will be three categories under which participants can apply: –
- CATEGORY I- Businesses in operation for less than two years (starting up)
- CATEGORY II-Businesses in operation for more than two years (scaling-up)
- CATEGORY III-Businesses promoted by Self Help Groups
* Languages accepted: Konkani and English
The winners of the competition will be awarded:
- Cash prizes
- Support from FiiRE by offering, 1-year free virtual incubation which includes:
- Mentoring by industry veterans
- Networking opportunities
- Access to funding opportunities
