Malcolm Afonso, from Betalbatim Salcete Goa, Son of Late Sir. Joseph
Afonso (Headmaster and ex-Sarpanch, Betalbatim) and Late Tr. Mericia Cardozo. Started his career in the merchant navy as a trainee navigation officer but had to
leave the industry due to a medical condition, subsequently, he joined the BSc program
at Parvatibai Chowgule college of arts and science where he fell in love with the
geology subject. Later on went on to do his master's in Geology at Goa university and
achieved the geology gold medal batch in 2015. Subsequently, Malcolm cleared his CSIR
NET exam the following year and joined the Department of Geology at Parvatibai
Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) as an assistant professor.
During this period, Malcolm invested a great amount of time in learning about geospatial
technology and created unique courses in these subjects that are taught at the BSc
level only at Parvatibai Chowgule College. After more than 6 years of teaching
experience on a temporary basis, he got the opportunity to serve as a full-time regular
assistant professor. However, his career as a government servant came to an abrupt
end due to the enforcement of reservation policy in the recruitment of faculty at
Chowgule college. At that point in time, Malcolm made up his mind to become his own boss
and take charge of my career and start his own startup where he could aspire to fulfil all

Officially Started on 1 st August 2022 at FiiRE, Don Bosco College of Engineering,
Fatorda Goa as a Geographic Information Systems Services Company. Today it has evolved into a full-fledged GIS and Drone (UAV) Remote Sensing Startup.
A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a framework for gathering, managing, and
analyzing spatial data. It analyzes spatial location and organizes layers of information
into visualizations using maps and 3D scenes. With this unique capability, GIS
reveals deeper insights into data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations
helping users make smarter decisions.
